She was predeceased by: her husband Edward John Chase; and her parents, Edward Lapp and Clarabell Lapp. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Chase (Sylvia), Shelly Chase and Jeff Chase (Kristina); her grandchildren, Tasha Ledesma, Echell Chase, Joshua Chase (Laurie Ekret) and Jarred Chase (Kaitlyn); and her sister Carole Modzeleski (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In keeping with Jean's love of gardening, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Grand Valley Daylily Society, 1000 East Beltline Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI.
