It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Carr (Rockford, Michigan), who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Ottenjan and Ethel Ottenjan (Brandt); her husband Thomas Carr; and her siblings, Mary Anthor, Fay Wheeler, Bernard Ottenan and Matt Ottenjan.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas, Carl, Allan and Terry (Gloria); and her sisters, Phyllis Schultz, Eileen Ottenjan and Sherry Vanderplow. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She had a love for crocheting and donating blankets and hats that she made and was always down for trying to beat you at a good game of cards.
