She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Garfield and Thelma Garfield (Hood); her son-in-law Brian Markin; her brother-in-law Pete Nielsen; her aunt Sarah; and her uncle Ned Landon.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Charles Rule; her daughters, Brenda Markin, Vickie Engle (Tom), Michele Wesson (Patrick) and Becky Buss (Joe); her grandchildren, Kristi, Justin, Caleb, AnDre', Evan, Michael, Nian and Cheng; and her sister Dorothy Nielsen. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
