He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nelson and Alice Nelson; his wife Mary Ann Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Allan Cole, John Miller and Richard Gorley.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Nelson; and his sisters, Phyllis Miller, Terri Cole and Pennie Pierce (Sean).
