She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Frank R. Wolz and Mabel Wolz; her husband Norman P. Buhr; her son-in-law George B. Rooney IV; her siblings, Ruth Mutchler, Miriam Barnard, Frank Wolz and Phillip Wolz; and her cousin Rose Sunde.
She is survived by: her children, David Buhr (Carol) and Janice Buhr Rooney; her grandchildren, Sarah Simons (Luke), Michael Buhr (Sara), Amanda Smith (Jeffery) and Elise Buhr-Young (Madison); and her great grandchildren, Aurianna Simons, Zachary Simons, Theodore Smith and Oliver Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
