It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Kleinsteiber of Rockford, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Eugene Kleinsteiber Sr.; his daughter Amanda Joyce Southwick; his sister Frankie McDaniel; his stepbrother Danny Stoker; and his brothers-in-law, John Toelle and Mike Dunmire.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Susan Southwick-Kleinsteiber; his children, Robert Eugene Kleinsteiber III, Kristy May Kleinsteiber (Tom Matzdorff) and Katrina Southwick; his mother AnnMarie Cecilia McDaniel (Dodyke); his sisters, Vicki Toelle and Melanie Dunmire; his grandchildren, Adriana Kleinsteiber (Cade Pestrue) and David Rector III; his stepmother Mary Kleinsteiber; and his stepbrothers, Mike Stoker and Joe Stoker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (4865 11 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
