He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swider and Helen Swider (Widlitzki); his wife Jackie Swider; his son Stanley Swider; his daughter-in-law Julie Swider; his brother Donald Swider; and his sister-in-law Betty Swider.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Swider, Glenn Swider and Douglas Swider (Roxy Johnson); his daughter-in-law Carla Swider; his grandchildren, Brenna, Jared, Mason and Kelly; his niece Shirley; and his nephew Rob. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (4865 11 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341).
