With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon Jane Lake (Rockford, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sharon Jane left this world on December 13, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Haney and Winona Haney; her former husband William K. Trussell Jr.; her children, William Kenneth Trussell III and Brenda Trussell; her grandson Sean Hartzell; and her sister Particia Fase.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Lake; her daughters, Shelly Hartzell (Larry), Stephanie Munson (Ray), Rose Ann Paulino (Rick), Leslie Bliss (Vance) and Misti Lake; her daughter-in-law Peggy Trussell Danner; and her brother Mike Haney (Linda). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Gilda's Club.
