He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rekeny and Pauline Rekeny (Svetlak); and his siblings, Michael, John, Mary Parsons, Anne Harrison, Helene Otto and Pauline Hanson.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly; his children, Sheryl Schlundt-Bodien (Glenn), Michael Rekeny (Vicki) and Lori Gogulski (Peter); and his sisters, Frances Williams (Fran) and Virginia Horgan (Ginny). He is also survived by many in laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Emmanual Hospice or the Humane Society is welcome.
