She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cook and Veronica Cook (Simon). She is survived by: her children, Michelle Newton (Darryl), Kevin May (Pattie), Terry May (Kristin), Glenn May and Renee Boutell (Joe); her grandchildren, Nate Newton (Amanda), Nick Newton (Shannon), Noah Newton (Loren), Kelsey Fraser (Robert), Mackenzie May, Melissa May (Brennen Stevens), Marrielle Konkle (Daniel), Kyle May (Camden), Vic May, Livia May, Joseph Boutell, Gianna Boutell, Kateri Boutell, Simeon Boutell and Xavier Boutell; her stepgrandchildren, Todd Urbanik (Holleigh), Ashleigh Elzinga (Jeffery), Lauren Buzzell (Seth), Brooke Brower (Ramsey) and Erika Bradford; her great grandchildren, Isiah, Isabel, Harper, Emmett, Booker Newton and Ashton Konkle; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Parker Urbanik, Jaxon, Atlas Elzinga, Theo and Eden Buzzell; her brother Stanley Cook (Roxann) of Hernando, FL; her siblings-in-law, Betty May (Fountain), Nancy Doyle (John), Eloise Kuncaitis (Mike), Ken Prus, Antoinette VanWyck, David May (Vickie Mauchmar-Laker) and Mike May; her husband Dale; her daughter Melissa Ann May; her daughter-in-law Pamela May (Poole); her great grandchildren, Zara Konkle and Levi Newton; and her siblings-in-law, Sally Cook (Migel), Marvin May, Sid Miller, Rita Miller (May), Alice Howard (May), Theresa May, Maryellin Prus (May-Hooper), Lynn May (Sullivan) and Norah May (Lumley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (6390 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
