With sadness, we share the passing of William Joseph Shupe of Rockford, Michigan. William, born on October 28, 1958, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arnold Shupe and Elaine Delores Shupe; and his brother Jason Shupe. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Shupe; his sons, Eric Shupe (Mary), Anthony Shupe (Kellie) and Michael Shupe (Erin); his grandchildren, Heather Horning (Dan), David Saxton (Samantha), Bradley Saxton (Danielle), Lincoln Shupe, River Shupe, Raven Shupe, Lucy Shupe, Sawyer Shupe and Wyatt Shupe; his great grandchildren, Kurtis, Katrena, Travis, Bodie, Violet, Ellisynn, Braden and Rosalie; and his siblings, Thomas Shupe (Amy), Robert Shupe (Sally), Cyndi Scott (Steve) and Art Holden (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Shupe Family Home (5756 Sunfish Lake Ave NE, Rockford, MI 49341). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cannonsburg Cemetery (5600 Sunfish Lake Ave NE, Rockford, MI 49341).
