She is survived by: her husband Jim Sowards; her children, Karen Braceful (Ezell), Patty Schwartz and Mark Sowards (Moira); her grandson Weston Schwartz; and her siblings, John Edward King (Linda), Gary Wayne King, Hattie Faye Johnson (Elwood), Mary Alice Cole (Russ) and Georgene Newsome As. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
