Val Patrick Pierson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Val Patrick Pierson of Rodney, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred William "Bill" and Crescentia June Pierson; his sister Amy Simmons; and his brother-in-law Martin Nordyke. He is survived by: his wife Babs Michelle Nordyke; his sons, Paul (Angela) and Noah (Laura); his grandchildren, Grace and William; his sons, Matthew Maczynski (Tiffany) and Earl Rehkopf; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by sons; and many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Memorial contributions in Val's honor may be made to Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County.
