He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kerschenheiter and Justine Kerschenheiter; his brother John "Butch" Kerschenheiter; his sister-in-law Kathy; his grandson Christian; Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Sheila Bowen (John Jones), Cassandra Giroux (Larry), Alanha Asher (Jason), Alan Jr. (Sunny) and Adam (Lisa); and his brother Ray Kerschenheiter (Ardith). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:45 AM at the Final Resting Place Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
