He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Ethel (Thomas); his wife Donna Mae Nelson; and his great grandchild Gavin Miller. He is survived by: his children, Steven A. Murray (Tina Nettnay) of Bruce Township, Vickie Lee (Courtland) of Romeo, Brian Murray (Sara) of Bruce Township and Connie Smith (Brian) of Shelby Township; his grandchildren, Brian Murray (Meghan), Matthew Murray (Amanda), Nicholas Murray (Melissa), Chad Miller (Trista), Scott Miller (Sarah), Jennifer Bednarz (Jon), Michael Murray (Kristen), Tanya Carrol (Jeff), Amanda Martin (Stewart), Lindsey Lewis (Zachary) and Jacob Hernden; and his close friend Barb Trobovich of Romeo. He is also survived by 24 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
