He is survived by: his children, Kermit Knuppenburg (Lucy) of Macomb Township and Melony Caringi of Lapeer; his stepsons, Mark Keiling of Washington and Steve Keiling of California; his grandsons, Kermit C. Knuppenburg (Jamie), Dane Knuppenburg Jr., Tyler Trombley (Katie) and Max Keiling; and his great grandchildren, Noah Crampton and Aurora Knuppenburg.
