Mercedes Faye Godin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mercedes Faye Godin of Romeo, Michigan, born in Hamtramck, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Mercedes shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mercedes farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She is survived by: her brother Craig Gondin (Sue); her nephews, David Godin (Heather) and Ryan Godin; her niece Jeni Cline (Joe); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayce, Gabriella, Alexis, Ethan and Sebastian.
