He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Mary Docherty, Sr.; and his wife Kathleen Ann Thorman. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Sue Gill of Bruce Twp, Stephen Homer Docherty, III (Pauline) of Atlanta and Kelly Ann Koral (Mike) of Ira Twp; his grandchildren, Jamie Gill of Romeo, Johnny Reed (Thomas) of Romeo, Michael Koral of Ira Twp, Kristopher Koral of Ira Twp, Stephen Docherty, IV (Katherine Journeau) of Atlanta and Jacklyn Atkinson (Donald) of Gaylord; his great grandchildren, Madison Kesseler (Danny) and Evan; and his siblings, Judy Bishop (Bob) of Florida and Jamie Docherty of Florida.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Muir Funeral Home (296 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
