She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Marie Buckley; her brothers, James Buckley, Johnnie Buckley, Lawrence Buckley and Terry Buckley; and her stepson John H. Jones Jr..

She is survived by: her husband John Henry Jones; her stepson Clayton Newson; her siblings, Josephine Eatman, Ronald Buckley (Cheryle), Wendell Buckley (Kensheilia), Herbert Buckley (Elizabeth) and Sterling Buckley (LaTifia); her aunts, Helen Galloway and Betty Loyd; her godchildren, Katrena King, DeAaron Alexander, Lanika Buckley, Kimberly Cooper, Taron Smith and Tina Greene; and her close friends, Judith Beanum and Carolyn Mosley. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
