She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Souter and June Souter; and her sister Sandra Souter. She is survived by: her husband William Brooks; and her sons, Douglas Brooks (Pin), David Brooks, Dwight Brooks (Charlotte), Matthew Brooks (Carrie) and William Brooks (Brenda). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
