He was predeceased by: his parents, Halton and Beatrice; and his brother Hal Hood. He is survived by: his son Corey Cook (Heather); his grandchildren, Channing and Colston; his sisters, Carol Rudolph (Jeff) and Kathleen Hood; and his niece Tracy Rasmussen. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Memorial Gardens (4800 Curtis Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Harris-Kehrer VFW Post 3323 (1055 S Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48186).
