He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Burke and Leo Burke; and his siblings, Don, Leo, Richie, Allen and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; and his children, Shawn Burke (Dana), Jodi Burke Ciufo (Phil), Kevin Burke and Erin Burke O'Brien (Tom). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
