He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Mau and Ruth Mau; and his brother-in-law Earl Erickson. He is survived by: his daughters, Becky (Matt Bowker) and Melissa Mau (Jason Cuthrell); his grandson Riley Mau; his former wife Judy Mau; his sister Shirley Erickson; and his nephews, Craig (Tara) and Mike Erickson (Christine).
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
