It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dave Aittama of Roscommon, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Aittama and Erma Aittama (Langen); his wife Elaine J. Vermeulen; and his brothers, Paul and Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Aittama (Terry) of Plover, Wisconsin and Heidi Aittama-Kirchner (Mike) of Commerce, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kara Aittama (Cameron Small) of Wheatridge, Lindsay Aittama of Denver, William Aittama (Alissa), Dean Aittama, Hannah Mathews (Robert) and Laura Kirchner of Dallas Texas; his great grandchildren, Victoria, Alex and Maya; and his sisters, Edith Neiderer of Muckwanago and June Tervo of Brighton, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker's of Milford (2025 S Milford Rd, Milford, MI 48381). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
