He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Meska; his siblings, Robert and Ruth; and his great grandchild Noah. He is survived by : his daughter Jan Quinlan (Tony); his grandchildren, Nichole Wood (Jason) and Matt Sarkozi (Lindsay Kaske); his daughters, Kim Isokait (Doug) and Ruth Miller (Scott); his grandchildren, Jason Varner, Jessica Robinson (Nate), Eric Miller (Maria) and Katie Darling (Aaron); his daughter Lin Marklin (Mark); his grandchildren, Lukas Marklin (Jacqueline Metheny), Tyler Marklin (Ashlee), Macie Marklin (Dylan Fackler) and Lacie Marklin; his nieces and nephews, Steve Pinney, Jerry Pinney (Maryjane), Dave Morgenstern (Pat), Dennis Morgenstern (Deb), Wendy Hoekje (Jeff) and Sandra Richards (Randy); his friend Ann Griffin; and his caregivers, Carol and Pete McDonell. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and leaves cousins as well as many other extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to a charitable organization of choice.
