He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Coop and Annie Coop (Holt); his former wife Patricia; his wife Margaret; his stepchildren, Laura Wyeth and Walter Wyeth Sr.; and his siblings, Joyce Coop, Albert Coop, Thelma Umbriet and Thomas Coop.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Coop, Jr. of Three Rivers and Sherri Henschel (Marty) of Marcellus; his stepchildren, Vernon Wyeth (Denise) of Three Rivers and Cindy Strother of Three Rivers; his grandchildren, Keagan Nwokedi, Travis Coop, Megan Qualls, Marshall Henschel III (Danielle) and Austin Henschel; his great grandchildren, Royce Nwokedi, Madison Lockwood, Maxton Lockwood, Ayden Henschel, Luka Hartzell and Huxtin Henschel; and his brother James Coop.
