He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Harwood and Joanne Stiles (Yerke). He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Brooks of Roscommon, Michigan and Ronald Harwood (Kathy) of Dagget, Michigan; and his nieces and nephews, Chris (Jade), Tricia, Timothy, Emily, Ayden, Olivia and Brady.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors (143 Lake St, Roscommon, MI 48653). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

If so desired, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in Jon's name to Roscommon Baptist Church.
