With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Smith of Roscommon, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joseph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Haskell Smith and Mabel Smith (Davis); his wife Karen Green; his stepchildren, Tami Hough (Tom Schneider) of Roscommon, MI and Michael Hough (Deborah); his grandsons, Aaron and Alexander of Chesterfield, MI; and his brother Cecil Arthur Bolling. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
