He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Christner (Daugherty); and his sisters, Tresa Christner, Christine "Tina" Bryzelak and Dorothy Jackson. He is survived by: his father Kenneth Christner; his son Adam Christner; his grandchildren, Cash, Memphis and Ford Christner; his siblings, Anita Wilson (Scott), Sharral Sharp (Rick), Sandra Kennedy (Stuart), Eugene Christner (Kim) and Jeff Christner (Jill); and his brother-in-law Larry Bryzelak.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Ken's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
