She was predeceased by : her mother Barbara Mayer (Hakalow). She is survived by : her father Harold Mayer; her husband Jim; her sons, Stephen (Amanda) and Patrick (Kara); and her grandchildren, Abigale and Travis. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Roscommon (109 S Main St, Roscommon, MI 48653). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Those wishing to honor Laura's memory may do so with a donation to the Roscommon Fireworks, 451 West Federal Highway, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
