Margaret Lytle Obituary
Margaret Lytle, 97 of Roscommon passed away on May 2, 2025 at her home. Margaret was born October 30, 1927 in Hemlock, Michigan to the late Walter and Lucille (Bendall) Katt. She graduated from Corunna High School in 1945 and married Lawrence Lytle on March 16, 1947. They were married for 75 years before he passed in 2021, They moved with their son Gregory to Roscommon in 1960.
She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and sharing her faith with others was a big part of her life. She was known for extending hospitality to family and friends and made sure that no one ever left her table hungry. She loved people and especially her family.
She has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 450 N. Roscommon Road, Roscommon, Michigan on May 17, 2025 at 2:00 Pm with Perry Stafford officiating.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lawrence and her son, Gregory, her parents, three sisters, Gene Dean, Patricia Wilkinson and Janet Kilpatrick and a brother, Stewart.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Loraine Lytle, grandsons Brian (Holly) Lytle of Houghton Lake and Patrick (Roxanne) Lytle of New Era and five great granddaughters, Rylee, Emilee, and Hadlee of Houghton Lake and Abigail and Madison of New Era. Also surviving is a sister, Lucille Lenker of Owosso and a brother, Walter Katt of Corunna as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at King Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Hospice for their excellent care.
