She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Wallace and Ralph Wallace; her sisters, Jo Heavener and Rosie Snyder; her former husband James T. Lenz; and her son Mark A. Rittershofer.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph J. Lenz of Otisville and Linda S. Degler of Bedford; her niece Susan Heavener; and her nephew Harold Snyder. She is also survived by many grandchildren, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markey Church (4736 N Flint Rd, Roscommon, MI 48653). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who are able to donate to the Munson Health Foundation in support of its work caring for people across northern Michigan.
