He is survived by: his daughter Kristal M. Johnson (Eric); his grandson Walter August Johnson; his siblings, Kenneth L. Schalau, Evelyn J. Schalau (Larry Petretti), Bobby R. Schalau (Laurie) and Cindy F. Schalau; and his caregiver Nick Lannom.
