She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Madge Prevo McComas; her husband Jerry Smith; her sons, Jerry Spears and Leroy Spears; her siblings, Junior McComas, Gene McComas, Henry McComas, Raymond McComas, Ray Freeman, Linda McCarty and Mary Ellen Freeman; her grandson Chad Ogden; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Belle Kelley and Austin Kelley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Ogden (Steve) of Liberty, Linda Esch (Alan) of Mio and Karen Hart of Monette; and her brother Orville McComas (Margarete) of Fountain, Florida.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
