She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Trainor and Eldonna Trainor (Carins); her husband Don Larkins; and her mother-in-law Deloris Larkins. She is survived by: her sons, Jayson Doren (Betsy), Mark Doren (Beth), Scott Doren (Anette), Tim Doren (Maritz), Matt Larkins (Julie) and Brett Larkins (Heather); her grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Dustin of Trevor, DJ, Aunnlea, Jennifer, Brett, Jr. and Keegan; her siblings, Karen Kleinhardt (Jay), Karla Swanson (Dan), John Trainor (Lori) and Kim Bailey (Bruce); her sisters-in-law, Sherie Gierman and Debbie Corby; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Katie has requested memorial contributions in her honor to be directed toward the MyMichigan Home Care and Hospice in appreciation for the many loving hours of care they have provided Katie in her last months.
