She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kanning and Ella Kanning (Goerke); and her siblings-in-law, Bob Consier, Elmer Kuck, Roland Nieman and Marilyn Nieman.
She is survived by: her husband Orville Nieman; her sisters, Dorothy Kuck and Ruth Consier; her sister-in-law Lorraine Middleton (Dale); her siblings' children, Dale, Karen Nieman, Rita Mikkelson (Jeff), Paul Kuck (Adelle), Ken Kuck (Kay), Rochelle Kochheiser (Randy), Ed Kuck (Tracie), Rich Consier (Becky), Brian Middleton (Kristine) and Matthew Middleton; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Robin Consier, Garion Consier (Morgan), Tabby Jones (Karl), Autumn Consier, Allison Doying (Travis), Jacob Mikkelson and Christian Kuck; Johannes, Amalia, Indigo, Asher and Lydia Anna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to the LCMS Organizations, Mission Development-Mission Central, Concordia Seward for Full time Church work as a teacher, Trinity LWML or Lutheran Heritage Foundation.
