Mary York Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary York of Roseville, Michigan, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernadette York and James York; and her sister Annamarie Barnes (late Paul). She is survived by: her sister Bernadette Carrothers (late Terry); her nieces, Annamarie Macandog (Mario) and Amber King (Anthony Dinnino); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey Macandog, Isabella King and Fiona Macandog; and her pet Piper.
For those wishing to express sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Joseph in Mary's honor.
