Bridgett Karkkainen Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bridgett Karkkainen (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Monroe, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bridgett left this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 49, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Bridgett may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bridgett touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Mason and Breanda Mason. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Karkkainen; her sister Lindsay Mason (Eric Younan); and her sibling's children, Annika Karkkainen, Anderson Karkkainen, Owen Karkkainen, Ian Karkkainen and Marlowe Younan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
