He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Silva and Irene De Silva; and his wife Brenda Flaherty. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Trevor (Susan), Dr. Stephen (Marcia), Carolyn Stesney (J. Michael Tyler), Robert (Marie), Dr. Kathryn and Dr. Gregory (Christine).
