He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford William Dean Sr. and Annetta Mae Dean; his son Kenneth; his former wife Martha Dean; and his sister Dorothy Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his children, Sandra Hubbard (Robert), Linda Doty (Thomas), Ronald Dean (Lisa) and Roger Dean (Susan).
