“A light has gone out of our world. Harry's desk was right behind mine at the Free Press; I delighted in his company, his wit, his compassion. We checked in occasionally after he left. He found time during his illness and the hectic rearranging of his family to meet with me when I came to Detroit for a wedding (that's so Harry). I cherish the memory of our last conversation. My condolences to Sue and the family. May his memory be for a blessing.”
