It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Corban Caldwell of Royal Oak, Michigan, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leroy and Helen Fisher of Strafford, Missouri.. He is survived by: his parents, Luke Caldwell and Kay Caldwell of Strafford; his sister Shonda (Danny); his nieces and nephews, Jackson, Macie and Josie; and his children, Caegan, Leighalla, Auden and Declan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
In May of 2020 Corban graduated from medical school and, though the ceremony was cancelled due to the pandemic, his family celebrated his achievement together.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of Dr. Corban Caldwell, to Foundations of Emergency Medicine (FoEM), an organization set up to educate and support residents in their long, arduous journeys to become attending physicians.
