George T. Cooney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George T. Cooney of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cooney and Matilda Cooney; his children, John Cooney and Patricia King; and his brother Don Cooney.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Mary Emerson (Ron), Michael Cooney and Eileen Drenikowski (Dennis); his son-in-law David King; his brother Robert Cooney; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Cooney and Joseph Sehulster (Carmen). He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
