He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jennifer (Robert) and Jeffrey (Samantha); his grandchildren, Robert J. Sharp (Jessica), Bryan Sharp, Dale Sharp and Liam Karr; his great grandchild Robert Henry; and his siblings, Edward Karpinski, Donald Carp, Julia Serafin and Richard Karpinski.
He did not want a viewing or formal service and asked for any donations to go to the USO (United Service Organizations) supporting active troops or the Sierra Club Foundation charities.
