He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kern; his children, Tina Nice, John Knight and Debra Gregory Geri (Paul); his grandchildren, Ronald, Anthony, Kyle, Shawn, Michael, Jamie, Jessica and Kinley; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Willow, Jones, Clementine, Mabel and Hazzell.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
