He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ballard-Gutholm; his children, Robbie Lee Gutholm, Tina Lynn Gutholm, Jeffrey Jay Gutholm and Wendy Lynn Gutholm; and his grandchildren, Andrew Gutholm, Brandon Gutholm, Paige Gutholm, Cameron Bourgeois, Oliver Gutholm and Chloe Bourgeois.
