He is survived by: his wife Margaret H. Roberts (Peggy); his son James M. Waisanen (Jim); his daughter-in-law Tiffany M. Waisanen; and his grandsons, Taylor J. Waisanen and Luke H. Waisanen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Royal Oak First United Methodist Church in Joe's honor.
