It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Golden of Royal Oak, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William (Elizabeth Smith) and Detroit; her daughter Donna Golden-Amy; and her brothers, Bill, Tom and Craig Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Golden; her children, Marsha Golden (Patrick Hammerle), Brenda Golden (Sharon Ramey), Joe Golden (Jeannie), Debra Bringman (Glen), Thomas Golden (Andi) and Christopher GoldenShe (Kimmy); and her siblings, Betty Cambell and David Smith. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Clawson, MI 48017). The lying in state will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (581 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (521 E 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roseland Park Cemetery (29001 Woodward Ave, Berkley, MI 48072). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
