He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Caron Trese; his brother Tom (Dianne); his sons, Daniel (Michael), Matthew (Elizabeth), John, Steve (Stacey) and Patrick; and his parents, Ralph Trese and Virginia Trese. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to The Pediatric Retinal Research Foundation or The Eye Research Institute at Oakland University.
