With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Eugene Thomas (Royal Oak, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife JoAnne; his children, Matthew, Melissa and Mark; his grandchildren, Alex, Anna, Braeden, Olivia and Dylan; his siblings, Susan (late Dennis), Michele (Tom) and Lisa (David); and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Grace Hills Church, 2123 Oak Knoll St., Auburn Hills or the American Cancer Society.
